August Workshop Series

This August, the Amici Trust was thrilled to host a series of five affordable, hands-on workshops tailored to up skill our local theatre community. Across the month, around 50 participants joined us to sharpen their skills and gain practical insights across various on-stage and off-stage disciplines.

Held at the NSMT Clubrooms, the series covered a diverse mix of topics: Music Theory for Performers, Sound Design 101, Lighting Introduction, Fight Scenes 101, and Music Direction 101. Each session offered practical, real-world knowledge designed to help emerging creatives and seasoned performers build confidence in their craft.

We extend a huge thank you to our incredible facilitators Zac Johns, Glen Ruske, Martin Searancke, and Alexander Holloway who shared their expert industry knowledge and mentorship with our attendees.

This series was made possible through the generous support of the Aotearoa Gaming Trust. Their funding kept ticket prices accessible. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the series such a success.
